Athletic Club Northeast Kids Club Policies

:: Reservations are required in order to visit the active kids center.

:: Walk ins are welcome only if space permits.

:: Reservations may be made up to two weeks in advance.

:: Children may not be dropped off prior to their scheduled reservation.

:: Parents who are 10 min. late will be charged for a half hour of child care.  

:: Please leave child in a fresh diaper and leave a clean diaper.

:: A child may be suspended if behavior is consistently disorderly or disruptive.

:: If a child cries for more than 10 minutes, the staff will contact the parent to comfort the child.

:: Parents or guardians must sign their child in and out.

:: Parents cannot leave the premises unless using the facility for one of the Active Kids Programs.

:: You will be charged for your full reservation if you don't cancel more than 1 hour of your reservation time.

:: If your child has signs of a fever, green runny nose, throaty coughing, vomiting or diarrhea they will be asked to leave until signs of infection pass.

:: There is a two hour maximum for one visit.  

:: Written consent must be given and proper ID shown if a person, other than the parent, is picking up the child.


Guidelines for when your child should stay home:

Fever                    
Child may not attend Blast! if he/she has a fever of 101 degrees or higher. Your child should be without a fever for 24 hours or more. Keep in mind that fevers are lower in the morning.

Vomiting               
Your child should not attend Blast! until 24 hours have passed.

Diarrhea                 
Your child should be without diarrhea for 24 hours or more.

Ringworm
              
Children may attend Blast! as long as the affected area has been treated with antifungal cream.

Runny Noses
          
Clear runny noses are acceptable with out any other symptoms.
Thick and coloredmucus may be related to an infection and the child should not be in Blast!  

Strep Throat
             
Must be on antibiotics for 24 hours or more.
(Ear infections, early bronchitis, etc, 24 hours or more)

Rashes
                     
Should be cleared by physician before attending Blast!

Chicken Pox            
Children may return to Blast! when all lesions are crusted over.

Head Lice
               
Children may return to school after treatment and removal of all individual eggs. 

Pinworms
                 
May return to school 24 hours after treatment. 

Pink Eye                    
May return to Blast! when discharge from eyes have stopped.
For bacterial infections, this is usally 48 hours after beginning antibitoic eye drops.
Consult a physician for viral infections.
